This step requires overcoming the friction and residual suction between the shafts.
- Action: While keeping the unlock button pressed, firmly grasp the driveshaft with both hands and perform a combined **”rocking up and down and pulling backward”** motion.
- Disengagement: Continue applying force until the female shaft completely slides out of the tractor’s splined main shaft.
Step 5: Release the Safety Chain
The final step is to completely disconnect all auxiliary connections.
- Operation: Locate the safety chain attached to the tractor body.
- Unload: Unhook the chain or fastener. At this point, the driveshaft is completely separated from the tractor, and you can safely proceed with the subsequent detachment of the implement.
